3 FALL TRANSITION OUTFITS YOU CAN COPY
The fall transition is that wonderful time of year when everything has pumpkin spice in it and you can go apple pickin'. When it comes to getting dressed, things get a little more fuzzy (pun intended). The leaves are a changin' but the sun still might be blazin'. (sorry, needed to get corny for a second).
The point is that even though your mind is on fuzzy sweaters and boots, the weather leaves you a bit unsure of how to dress for your unpredictable days. I wanted to give you a little inspiration and provide you with 3 fall transition outfits you can copy immediately.
OVERALLS + SUMMER TOP + BOOTIES
Overalls have become a wardrobe staple and you can certainly pair it with your favorite summery top and booties for a fall-appropriate look that won't leave you all hot and sweaty if the summer heat is still lingering. The nice thing about fall transition outfits, is that you have the opportunity to play with some of you summer items. You can copy this outfit with a crop top, or even a 3/4 or long sleeve top with shortalls instead. Pair them with a pair of booties for more varieties in your fall transition outfits.
*Yes, they really are called shortalls, not overall shorts. Look it up!
SUMMER TUNIC + JEANS + BOOTIES
Jeans, a long sweater, and booties makes this summer tunic top suitable to wear for your fall transition outfits. It is more fall-appropriate by adding a little warmth yet, prepares you for heat since you can just remove the sweater.
FAVORITE SUMMER DRESS + DENIM JACKET + ANKLE BOOTS
Here in the midwest, the morning tends to be a bit nippy, but you could step outside during your lunch break and be smacked with heat and humidity that takes your breath away. With this outfit, you can just slip off your jacket for a little relief and get your lunch (or pumpkin latte) without fear of heat exhaustion.
This particular look is my favorite because it is super easy to pull off. A denim jacket is a staple piece that will carry through every season and is a critical item to have during your transition weather. As it gets cooler, you can add tights, layer a long sleeved shirt under the dress, or go for taller boots!

Oh yes!
Bring an umbrella too.
