Sometimes, switching up your style is a great way to keep it interesting. The key is to keep the same basis – for me that is a standout color combination. 

In this look, I went for a updated rocker chic: A feminine edge.

WHY IT WORKS

Near complementary colors.

Take a colors complement and use the color right next to it on the color wheel. 

Why?

It makes a great contrast, but not as harsh as a color complement, which is the exact opposite. They have a tendency to vibrate off of each other and the color appear stronger. 

And of course, a leather jacket is just everything that is right in the world.
